Metaforic Gets $8M
Metaforic, a developer anti-tampering software to reduce piracy and hacking, has raised $8M in a new financing round. The firm, which has its North American headquarters in San Jose, said the funding was led by Scottish equity Partners (SEP). Other investors include Pentech Ventures and the Scottish Investment Bank's Scottish Venture Fund. Metaphoric said the new funding will go towards international sales and marketing.
