Mountain View-based Xlumena, a developer of medical devices for the endoscopy market, said last night that it has raised $7M in a Series B financing round. The round was led by Aperture Venture Partners, and also included Western Technology Investment, as well as existing investors Prism Ventures, Charter Life Sciences and Ascent Biomedical Ventures. Eric Sillman of Aperture and Avi Kometz of Ascent biomedical Ventures have joined the company's board of directors as part of the funding.
