Cadence Buys Altos Design Automation
San Jose-based Cadence Design Systems, the developer of electronic design automation (EDA) software, said this morning that it has acquired Altos Design Automation, a developer of foundation IP for the semiconductor industry. Financial terms of the acquisition wer enot disclosed. Altos was backed by Vista Ventures.
