eBay Buys Magento
San Jose-based eBay said this morning that it has acquired Magento, a developer of open source, e-commece software. Los Angeles-based Magento had previously raised funding from eBay. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. eBay said Magento becomes part of a new, X.Commerce integrated open commerce platform group at the company.
