Menlo Park-based
Vivecoach, which develops a web and mobile service aimed at employee wellness, said this week that it has raised $1.5M in a funding round. The round was led by Konstantin Othmer and Bruce Leak, with participation from Seraph Group, Aquinas Companies, Jeff Risberg (co-founder of Tibco), among others. The firm said the funding will go towards marketing and direct sales efforts. Vivecoach's employee wellness service uses the idea of "challenges" to spur weight-loss, walking/steps, exercise, nutrition, or other wellness activities.
