FlashSoft Lands $3M
Mountain View-based FlashSoft, a developer of software for managing enterprise, flash storage, has raised $3M in a Series A funding. The round was led by ThomVest Ventures. The firm says its software helps provide databases, applications and virtual machine environments with the performance of flash, without having to host those entire databases, applications, or VMs on flash storage. The firm is headed by Ted Sanford.
