Microsoft, Following Google, Kills Power Monitoring Service
Microsoft
said Thursday that it will be shutting down its
Microsoft Hohm
power and energy efficiency service, citing "slow overall market adoption" of the service. The move comes less than a week since
Google
announced it would shut down its
Google PowerMeter
project.
