Symantec Completes Clearwell Acquisition
Mountain View-based Symantec Corp. announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Clearwell Systems. The deal had originally been announced on May 19th. Clearwell was venture backed by DAG Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, and Sequoia Capital. The deal was worth $390M. Clearwell was based in Santa Clara, and provided electronic discovery and archiving software.
