Sunnyvale-based
Innovalight, a developer of silicon ink products and technology, has been acquired by
DuPont. DuPont announced the buy this morning, but did not disclose financial details of the acquisition. DuPont said the buy would strengthen its leadership in materials for the solar energy market. Innovalight was venture backed by Apax Partners, ARCH Venture Partners, Convexa Capital, EDB Investment, Harris and Harris, Leader Ventures, Scatec AS, Sevin Rosen Funds, Silicon Valley Bank, StarTech Early Ventures, Triton Ventures and Vertex Venture Holdings. The company was advised by DLA Piper in the deal.
