San Francisco-based InQuira, a developer of knowledge management and customer service software, has been acquired by Oracle, Oracle said Thursday. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. InQuira's software is used for both self-service and agent customer service. Oracle said the acquisition will help bolster ist cross channel customer support offering. InQuira's investors included Partech International, Scale Venture Partners, and Walden International.
