SunPower Wins Deal In India
San Jose-based Sunpower, the manufacturer of solar power products, said Thursday that it has scored a win in India, to deliver 15 megawatts of its panels and technology to the Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat regions of India. SunPower said the win comes with Mahindra EPC Services Pvt Ltd., which is developing multiple, grid-connected solar power plants in India. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. The win includes both Sunpower panels and its ground-mounted, tracking systems.
