Mission Motors Gets $9.0M
San Francisco-based Mission Motors, the developer of electric vehicle technology and electric motorcycles, said this morning that it has raised $9.0M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Warburg Pincus, and also included Infield Capital. Mission motors said that Warburg Pincus is making an investment of $7.5M in the company, with Infield Capital taking the rest of the round; Warburg Pincus has also committed to investing up to $50M more in the company in future investments. Mission Motors said the funding will go to commercializing its EV technology for vehicle manufacturers.
