Quixey, which is developing a search engine for mobile, desktop, web, and browser apps, announced today that it has raised $3.8M. The series A funding round was led by U.S. Venture Partners and W.I. Harper Group, and also included Webb Investment Network and Innovation Endeavors.
Quixey says its search engine scans blogs, review sites, forums, and social media to learn more about apps. The firm's CEO is Tomer Kagan.
