Accel's Breyer To Join News Corp. Board
Jim Breyer of Accel Partners has been nominated to join the board of News Corp., News Corp. said today, and will stand for election at that firm's October annual meeting. News Corp. CEO and Chairman Rupert Murdoch said in a statement that Breyer's background in media and technology will allow him to make "significant contributions" to the board. Breyer also sits on the boards of Wal-Mart, and Dell, in addition to heading up Accel's investment in firms like Facebook and Brightcove.
