Google Shuts Projects
Mountain View-based Google, saying it is having a "fall spring-clean" at the firm, has shut another set of projects, as it continues to trim the number of services and projects it offers up to the public. According to Google, it is shutting down social search service Aardvark; Googld Desktop; Fast Flip; Google Maps API for Flash; Google Pack; Google Web Security; Image Labeler; Google Notebook; SideWiki; and Subscribed Links.
