Vintners' Alliance Harvests $1.3M
San Francisco-based Vintners' Alliance, a provider of marketing technology and databases for the premium winery market, said Wednesday that it raised $1.3M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Kohlberg Ventures, and also included un-named Silicon Valley angels. Vintners' Alliance develops database technology specifically aimed at helping super premium wineries to sell directly to consumers via e-commerce. The firm was co-founded by Ahin Thomas and Pat Connollly. Connollly is EVP and CMO of Williams-Sonoma.
