Cisco Completes AXIOSS Software Buy
San Jose-based Cisco said Friday that it has completed its acquisition of the assets of AXIOSS Software, which was previously a UK subsidiary of Comptel Corporation. Cisco announced the acquisition of AXIOSS in August. Cisco had said that it would pay $31M in cash for AXIOSS. The company said the acquisition will help strengthen its Cisco service provider management offerings, and specifically automating order and fulfillment.
