Freestyle Capital
, a new venture capital fund started by Josh Felser and Dave Samuel, said today that it has raised a $27M fund to invest in early stage startups. Felser and Samuel were co-founders of Crackle, which was acquired by Sony in 2006 for $65M, and Spinner.com, which was acquired by AOL Time Warner for $320M in 1999. The two said its limited partners include Cendana Capital and Hall Capital. The firm said it will make seed funding and early stage investments of $100,000 to $500,000.
