San Francisco-based
Livefyre, a developer of social commenting software for bloggers and publishers, announced today that it has raised $4.5M in a Series B round. The round was led by Greycroft Partners, and also included Cue Ball, HillsVen Group, and ff Venture Capital. Lifefyre said it now powers over 14,000 sites. LiveFyre is headed by Jordan Kretchmer. The firm said the funding will go towards engineering and sales. The firm also lists Zelkova Ventures, Jarl Mohn,
Travis Kalanick, and Paige Craig as angel investors.
