Apple Buys 3D Mapping Firm

Mountain View-based Apple has acquired C3 Technologies, a developer of 3D mapping technology, according to a report from 9to5 Mac, which tracks the Mac market. C3 Technologies' technology automatically created very details, 3D models of locations based solely on aerial photos.
