HotelTonight Books $9M In Funding
San Francisco-based HotelTonight, which develops mobile apps to help users find deeply discounted hotel rooms, said Friday that it has raised $9M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Battery Ventures, and also included Accel Partners and First Round Capital. Accel gains a seat on the board, and Dave Morin becomes and advisor. HotelTonight said the funding will go towards expanding to other mobile platforms, among othe reffrts. The firm is run by Sam Shank.
