Whisper Systems Acquired By Twitter
Whisper Sytsems, a developer of security and privacy tools for Android and other mobile devices, has been acquired by Twitter. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Whisper Systems announced the acquisition this morning, saying it will bring its technology and expertise into Twitter's products and services. As part of the acquisition, Whisper Systems said it will temporarily be taking its products and services offline.
