Autodesk Acquires Horizontal Systems
San Rafael-based Autodesk said today that it has acquired Horizontal Systems>, a developer of cloud-based, Building Information Modeling (BIM) software for the architecture and engineering industry. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Autodesk said it will integrate Horizontal Systems products into its Autodesk 360 for BIM solution. Horizontal Systems was based in New York City.
