HealthRally Wins $400,000 From Angels
San Francisco-based HealthRally, which develops an online platform for inspiring people to achieve their health and wellness goals, said this week that it has raised $400,000 in seed funding. The round came from angels, including Esther Dyson, Isy Goldwasser, Dick Saas, Ty Danco, and Jeff Thiel. HealthRally said its crowdfunding platform uses social motivation and financial incentives, to inspire people to lose weight, quit smoking, or otherwise improve health and fitness.
