San Mateo-based
eMeter, a developer of smart grid management software, has been acquired by
Siemens, the firms said today. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. eeMeter develops software for electric, gas, and water utilities, and is venture backed by DBL Investors, Foundation Capital, Northgate Capital, Sequoia Capital, and Siemens Venture Capital. eMeter had raised at least $56M in funding.
