Google: 10 Billion Android Market Downloads
Mountain View-based Google said this morning that it has reached a total of 10 billion worldwide app downloads on the Android Market. Google said it is now seeing a growth rate of one billion app downloads per month. As part of an effort to spur more downloads, Google said it was also going to be launching a promotional effort to offer up some of the market's most popular apps for just 10 cents each, over the next 10 days.
