GAIN Fitness, a developer of mobile apps for personal trainers to help their clients with workouts, said Friday that it has raised $650,000 in a seed funding round. The round came from InterWest Partners, Keith Rabois, Ben Ling, Michael Tanne, Brent Hurley, Seraph Group and others. GAIN Systems is headed by Nicholas Gammell. The firm said its mobile app and websites helps personalize exercise to an individual's unique lifestyle.
