YouTube Acquires RightsFlow
Mountain View-based YouTube, the online video site owned by Google, said Friday that it has acquired RightsFlow, a New York firm which processes music royalties. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. RightsFlow handles royalty payments for music publishers. The firm's database of publishers helps route payments for the use of music tracks to the right artists.
