ScaleArc Gets $5.33M
Menlo Park-based ScaleArc, a developer of database infrastructure software, announced this morning that it has raised $5.33M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Trinity Ventures, and also included prior investor Nexus VEnture Partners. ScaleArc has appointed Justin Barney as President and CEO of the firm along with the funding; Barney was previously VP of Sales for Software at Juniper Networks, and also has been at Ankeena Networks and Citrix Systems. ScaleArc said the funding will go towards geographic and staffing expansion.
