Yahoo Appoints PayPal's Scott Thompson As CEO
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo said this morning that it has named Scott Thompson, formerly President of PayPal, as its new CEO. The firm said that current interim CEO Tim Morse will resume his role as CFO on January 9th. Thompson was President of PayPal, and also previously served at Inovant (owned by Visa), Barclays Global Investors, as well as Coopers and Lybrand.
