Apple Confirms Anobit Buy
Cupertino-based Apple said Wednesday that it has acquired Anobit, an Israeli developer of flash storage products. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, although the acquisition has previously been reported to be worth as much as $500M. Anobit's products are used in the Apple iPhone, iPad, and other hardware. Anobit was venture backed by Intel Capital, Battery Ventures, and Pitango Venture Capital.
