Symantec Buys Email Archiving Firm LiveOffice
Mountain View-based Symantec said today that it has acquired LiveOffice, a provider of cloud-based, email archiving. Symantec said it would pay approximately $115M for LiveOffice. LiveOffice was backed by Summit Partners. Symantec explained that the acquisition will extend its
intelligent information governance offering to the cloud.
