Yahoo's Jerry Yang Departs Firm
Jerry Yang, the founder of Yahoo, has departed the firm, according to a statement from the firm Tuesday afternoon. Yahoo said that Yang is resigning from Yahoo, the board of Yahoo Japan Corporation, and Alibaba Group Holdings Limited, effective today. Yang said it was time to "pursue other interests outside of Yahoo!". Yang had co-founded Yahoo in 1995 with David Filo.
