Milpitas-based SanDisk, the maker of flash memory, said this morning that it has acquired FlashSoft, a provider of caching software for the solid state disk drive (SSD) market. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. SanDisk said it will sell FlashSoft's products standlone, as well as part of its products.
