nScaled Secures $7M For Disaster Recovery
San Francisco-based nScaled, a developer of cloud-based, backup and disaster recovery services, said this morning that it has raised $7M in a funding round. The Series A founding was led by Almaz Capital and Doughy Hanson Technology Ventures, and also included un-named Silicon Valley angels. The firm said the funding will go towards growth, expansion of its network of data centers, and software development, sales, and marketing. nScaled is headed by Mark Hadfield. nScaled is targeting mid-sized companies with its cloud-based disaster recovery and business continuity services.
