SonicWALL Acquired By Dell
San Jose-based SonicWALL, the provider of network firewall and security products, is being acquired by Dell Computer, Dell said this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. SonicWALL was owned by private equity firm Thoma Bravo. The firms did not announced the acquisition price. Dell said it will hire approximately 950 employees from SonicWALL, and continue to grow the business.
