TE Connectivity's Touch Solutions Business Sold To Gores Group
The Menlo Park-based touchscreen business of TE Connectivity, has been sold to private equity firm Gores Group, in a $3890M in cash deal, the firms said this morning. According to Gores, it is in a definite agreement to acquire TE Connectivity's Touch Solutions business, which develops touch screens, touch monitors and all-in-one touch computers. The business had $413M in sales in fiscal 2011, according to Gores Group.
