NComputing Raises $21.8M For Desktop Virtualization
Redwood City-based NComputing, a developer of virtual desktop and thin client hardware, said today that it has raised $21.8M in a new funding round. The round was led by QuestMark Partners, and also included Menlo Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, and Daehong Technew Corp. NComputing develops both software and a system-on-a-chip which helps support thin client and virtual desktop computing. Among the firm's products is a thin client device which allows up to 45 users to run off a single host computer.
