AVOS Raises Series A
San Mateo-based AVOS Systems, the startup led by former YouTube founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen, has raised a Series A funding round. Size of the round was not announced. THe round was led by New Enterprise Associates and Google Ventures, and also included Madrone Capital and Innovation Works, the Chinese incubator of Kai-Fu Lee. AVOS is the current owner of social bookmarking site Delicious.
