Intuit Buys Demandforce
Mountain View-based Intuit said this morning that it is buying San Francisco-based Demandforce, in a deal worth approximately $423.5M. Demandforce develops software-as-a-service applications used to automate marketing and customer support and communications. Demandforce will become a part of Intuit's Small Business Group. Demandforce was venture backed by Benchmark Capital, Palo Alto Venture Partners, along with others.
