Cisco Buys Truviso
San Jose-based Cisco said today that it is acquiring Truviso, the Foster City-based developer of network data analysis and reporting software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Truviso was venture backed by Diamondhead Ventures, ONSET Ventures, and UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund. Cisco said the acqiusition will help strengthen its Cisco Prime network management platform.
