YouTube Now Seven Years Old
YouTube, the online video sharing site which is now part of Google, just hit seven years old on Sunday, the site announced to its users over the weekend. The video site--first launch in May of 2005--said it now is seeing over 72 hours of video uploaded to the site every minute. Google acquired YouTube in October of 2006, just over a year after its launch, in a deal worth $1.65 billion.
