Google Completes Motorola Mobility Buy
Mountain View-based Google reported this morning that it has completed its acquisition of Motorola Mobility. Google had originally announced the $12.5 billion deal in August of last year. As part of the acquisition, Google CEO Larry Page said that Motorola Mobility's Sanjay Jha has stepped down as CEO, and that Googler Dennis Woodside takes over as CEO at Motorola Mobility. Google has said that it will use the Motorola Mobility buy as part of its Android strategy.
