Meebo has been acquired
Google, the firm said Monday afternoon, to bolster Google+. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. The deal was rumored to be worth over $100M, but the companies have not confirmed or denied those numbers. Meebo was venture backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, JAFCO American Ventures, Khosla Ventures, KTB Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Time Warner, and True Ventures.
