23andMe Buys CureTogether
Mountain View-based 23andMe, the personalized genomics firm headed by Anne Wojcicki, said Tuesday that it has acquired CureTogether, a site focused on health based communities. Financial temrs of the buy were not disclosed. 23andMe said the buy will help it gather data for research. CureTogether was started in 2008, and was headed by Alexandra Carmichael, who becomes Senior Product Manager at 23andMe.
