Seculert, a developer of threat detection and security software, said Tuesday that it has raised $5.35M in funding, and set up a U.S. presence in Palo Alto. The firm, which develops malware detection tools, said the round was led by Norwest Venture Partners, and also included YL Ventures. Dror Nahumi of NVP joins the board with the funding. Seculert is headed by Dudi Matot; the firm said its software can detect previously unknown malware, on top of existing security tools. The firm's headquarters are in Petach-Tikva, Israel.
