MobiTV, the provider of mobile television services and on-demand streaming for those devices, has abandoned its IPO plans, saying Friday in a filing that it is withdrawing its IPO registration. The company cited "unfavorable market conditions" for the change in plans. MobiTV had filed for an IPO in August of 2011, seeking to raised $75.0M as MBTV. The firm is venture backed by Gefinor Ventures, Oak Investment Partners, Menlo Ventures, and Redpoint Ventures.
