Zenverge Gets Strategic Round From Verizon
Santa Clara-based semiconductor maker Zenverge, which is developing a transcoding engine aimed at processing HD streams for IP connected devices, said Tuesday that it has raised a strategic round of funding from Verizon Investments. Financial details of that investment were not disclosed. Verizon Investments is the venture capital arm of Verizon. The firm said it will use the funds to accelerate deployment of its products. Zenverge is headed by Amir Mobini.
