Zendesk Pulls Up $60M More
San Francisco-based Zendesk, the provider of cloud-based customer service software, has scored $60M in new financing, the company said today. The round included both equity and debt, with the $45M equity funding led by Redpoint Ventures. Other investors in the round included Index Ventures, GGV Capital, Goldman Sachs, and the firm's prior investors. The remaining $15M in debt came from Silicon Valley Bank. Zendesk says it now has over 20,000 customers, and has grown its monthly recurring revenues by 500 percent since its last financing round in November of 2010.
