Shutterfly Acquires Penguin Digital
Redwood City-based Shuttefly said earlier this week that it has acquired Penguin Digital, a mobile application developer behind Mobile Photo Factory. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Penguin Digital was based in New York, where Shutterfly said it is setting up a new technology center. Mobile Photo Factory (MoPho) lets users create photo merchandise and prints from their mobile phone.
